I read a book recently by dave or dan caudill called
memories, mountains, moonshine and something else(may not be in that order)but it seems this story was in there.

I know i read this story somewhere anyway check with the magazine Kentucky Explorer located in Jackson County(Mckee I belive)Kentucky. They
publish a magazine about KY every 2 months check with them.
