My great grandfather Will Caldwell was sent by his father (Zacharia Caldwell) to arrest someone in 1921. He was shot dead. When Zacharia found out about the murder, he sent his other son Milt caldwell to arrest the same person, and he was shot & killed also. While attending the trial of the person that killed two of his sons, Zacharia was also shot and killed! Supposedly the shooter's last name was Brock. This all happened in Leslie County, 1921. I have been unable to verify any of this information. However, Will and his brother Milt are buried in a single grave at the Honey Branch Cemetary, Leslie County.
Any information on this incident would be greatly appreciated....
