Dynamite used to kill Union County Ky Man

Edward (Eddie) Seats was killed January 4, 1980 as he was leaving the Peabody Eagle No. 2 coal mines in Shawneetown, IL..dynamite was put under the hood of his truck with the intent for it to explode when he turned on the ignition. Instead, the truck exploded as he a short distance from the mines. No arrests have ever been made - and remains unsolved. Any information would be appreciated. thanks
