Posted by Pamela One is a 21 year old grey mare. Khlassi is a lovely, petite, and typey mare. She had a foal this year after having a year or so off of breeding. The colt is black or black bay with four high white stockings and a big blaze. She may be rebred for next year - we have not had her checked, but she was pasture exposed to a lovely Khemosabi grandson. The foals I have seen of Khlassi's had four white stockings and excellent temperments. She is sound, very gentle, rides Western and is patient with children in an arena. She is sometimes a bit go-y on the trail for a very young or inexperienced rider. Her foals tend to be larger than she. The second mare, Kharra, is about 19 years, a mahogany bay with exotic head, and extreme body type. This mare is allegedly a class A W/P champion, although, by all appearances, she should have done as well in English. She had great presence, is very upright and rather lofty movement for W/P. However,she is not sound, due to a bout of lymphagitis last year that has left her with a chronic condition. she requires daily bute and pasture or large pen to be able to move around. She had a foal this spring and really went down in condition as she has anextremely good milk production. I am located in Arizona. I have recently acquired two purebred daughters of Khemo that are available at extremely reasonable prices because they are "rescue" horses. Thier price together would be considerably less than $1,000. Thier registration papers are in order, however. Both will be offered at our farm sale on Spetember 29/30, 2001 in Laveen, AZ, if not sold before tht date. I would like to sell them together since they have been stable together for years and are quite bonded.
