I have a question as far as the Arab Market goes... Im not sure if there is as much money in it as there is in the jumper ring... I have a gelding I am looking to sell but need a bit of advice.
He is pushing 16.1 hands ( Anglo Arab) his Arab mother is a Soldat daughter and his TB father has sport horse lines that are found in alot of the Sell Francis and Trekhenner approval lines.
He free jumps 5 feet, and has a huge lofty trot, we have a grand prix Dressage trainer that taught a clinic and was practically drooling over his movement. He has a good 14 foot canter stride. As a jumper / Hunter / and Dressage horse we were given an appraisal for the spruce meadows auction at around 9,000 american however I was kind of thinking I wouldnt mind sending him to an Arab show home...and well I have no plans to send him to a spruce meadows auction and see him go to some evil doer haha. I advertised him at 3,900 ( he has now 60 days pro training on him) and have gotten tons of responses many asking if hes sound due to my price... I really dont know how to price him...anyhelp ...any ideas where to post his for sale adds ?
