Hi Everyone ~ Hoping you are all doing well. Sad news, I haven't seen Creepers in a week. Another fox in the neighborhood. I still leave the food out for him, I'm working 3rd shift @ a Nursing Home - so I sleep during the day - SOMETHING has been taking the food... At night the raccoons & possum come. I have separate feeders for the squirrels & my favorite chipmunk - so I know it's not them. I'll keep you posted. Just wanted to drop in & see if anyone is here still???????? Wishing all the best to whomever remains. Hugs/paws and purrs to you all... Take care...
I'm here!

My neighbor from across the way informed me that last week, Creepers was hit by a car. She was not sure who's cat he was, but she went to all the houses in the area when it first happened, where I work first shift, I was asleep when she came to mine. She said he was still alive and was rushed to the Vet's - they gave him pain meds right away - she called the next day, and was told he did not make it. I feel so horrible!!! I've tired for so long to rescue him from the streets. My heart is broken for him - he didn't have a family to love him, or someone to be there with him in his final moments. He deserved so much better than that. I wanted to be able to do that for him. He came from somewhere, why someone would just leave him like that is beside me... I can only hope that my Lovely Angels over the bridge where there to meet him & welcome him in. Rest Creepers - you really do have a 'home' of your own now. You will be sadly missed, and remembered well...
Oh, no

Oh, Darcy, I am so terribly sorry. But you are wrong that he didn't have someone to love him -- he had YOU. You gave him the luxury of a predictable meal, a place he felt welcome, even if he chose to eat-and-run. He knew someone cared about HIM. Even with the horrible outcome, at least your neighbor was able to get him to a place where he could get release from the pain and he could be in comfort until the end. He is in the best hands of all now. RIP, Creepers. Healing hugs to you, Darcy. Thank you for caring about him. You made a difference in his life.
