Dropping by to say "hello" in hopes there are still a few left hanging around... I still haven’t had my baby - any day now. Well, that depends on which of my Doctors you ask. My son was able to catch the stray we've been feeding - she's in the shed, we still continue to feed her, where it's getting colder here, I really continue to try to 'catch' her - I can't take in another Fur Baby - but have been in touch with a couple of places here, that 1) will take her IF she IS a feral 2) gave EXCELLENT tips on keeping her warm until I can cage her. I don't think she's a "feral" where she has let me & my son rub her neck & back, plus one of my fur babies IS/WAS a feral & it took YEARS for her to get to where she is now with me. Although she still is shy... When we left CA, I just couldn't leave her behind.... 12 almost 13 years later, she purrs & lets me cuddle her... After THAT long story - I think this kitten in our shed is just a scared little stray... Hopeful to trap her this weekend & get her to a warm environment & adopted out to a loving home. I would take her in, but as you know - I have 6 of my own (never did tell you the story of how we adopted the newest addition to the gang... He wasn't a "replacement" to when Mystic passed away (one can never 'replace' anything or anyone that has been loved completely) - he's just an angel with lots of fur, and a wonderfully silly disposition... Plus with the baby days away, 2 hamsters & a fiancé that is allergic (so he says) to the cats, I would be causing problems in the house...Plus, this little girl is black - she would stick out with the others. I will keep you all posted on that... I do wish you all well & really do hope that someone is still out there - somewhere, even if you are just 'peeking' in from time to time.... I do remember what this board represents & I'm always here - whether I write everyday or not. Take care everyone - paws & purrs to you all
