65.175.135.8All the news reports for the "Anniversary" of Katrina were on last night ~ I couldn't bring myself to watch it all over again ~ knowing in my heart, it NEVER should have ended the way it did, if there is actually an ending ~ there is still SO much that hasn't been corrected, cleaned, repaired or replaced. So very sad... I've decided to leave my porch & patio lights on for every day they were under-water... My heart still breaks for all of them... Prayers for everyone - love to you all... - Our porchlight is on. Prayers for all the lost souls. nm

80.3.64.13Lise saw my post and the responses on nola (the same as I posted herre) and many, many people left their porchlights on. She mentions it in her wonderful blog. I am so honoured to also get a tiny mention (both as mandibee and amanda)as well as my beloved Truffles...
