| Porchlight tonight - if anyone reads today...

I have felt at a loss to know how to have some tangible commemoration today. It's already just on 11pm here so as I was going to close up and get ready for bed etc I suddenly thought of that amazing blog by Lise. It was for the 6 month mark when she wrote a piece about a light on in a porch. We all left our lights on (well those who knew about it) overnight on the same night - a light shining out. Well, tonight I want to do the same and will be leaving my porchlight on overnight. I don't know what else to do, but having just re-read many of Lise's blogs and shedding many tears, I feel I need to do it. Anyone going to join me? Here is the last paragraph (from Lise's blog, Feb 25):So, this coming week, between February 28th and March 1st, as oddly and very appropriately enough, there will be no 29th during this, the six month anniversary of Katrina, please say a prayer of thanks and hope, for us all in New Orleans, and in the Gulf Coast, and maybe for that one night, you can leave your porch light on, too.
