After with what happened with Katrina, I still DON'T understand how so many people can be so ignorant and put themselves and their defenseless fur-babies in danger.... I find it very hard to feel sympathy for these people who CHOSE to stay behind & stupidly kept their animals in harms way!!! There was warnings in advance & they still chose to stay, and for the ones who got to safety, yeah for them - the ones who selfishly left the fur-babies to fend for themselves - shame on you! Those are the ones who shouldn't have fur-kids in the first place!!! At what point will they learn????
