Posted by Diane Bartell Chris tisme@mindspring.com -----Original Message----- Here are pictures and information on the three cats still in the shelter in York, Nebraska. La Moine, the gal who is fostering them, is fantastic and willing to do whatever is necessary to find their owners. Unfortunately, the only information they were told about the cats is that they were owner surrendered. We all know that means the owners surrendered them thinking they'd be able to reclaim them later. Any help would be appreciated in finding their owners. Leanne, if you could put them on your flicker site, that would be wonderful. La Moine said any potential owners are welcomed to call her as she has the cats with her at the house and she can check out anything they need. We are not certain which shelter they came from, but they were transported to Nebraska from Hearts United located in Auburn Nebraska. Cat #198 was named is Bourbon, she is a dark torte calico female. She way spayed and brought up current on her vaccinations on 9-21-05. She was tame although has a little bit of an attitude, so know that at one time she was someone's pet. Cat #2 #205 was named Creole and is a soft muted calico. She was spayed, also brought up on her vaccinations on 9-21-05. Cat #3 is #199 and #198. We named her Ms. Voodoo as she is the kind of cat that likes attention but when she is done she is done. She seems to enjoy being a one cat owner so that is why I am certain that she belonged to a home and had lived in a good home environment. She came to Nebraska already being spayed and she was declawed so she had good care. If I can be any help at all I will be more than happy to do so. If someone would like more pictures, I would be happy to take more and email them directly to them or through you. If there any are marks etc that they wish for me to look for I will do that as well. My home phone number is 401-362-4908, me email is www.lamoine@inebraska.com If I am not at home, leave a message and I will get back to. The greatest joy I would have is to reunite any cat with their previous owner. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Check with Hearts United out of Auburn, Nebraska.
These cats came from HeartsUnited who have no where found addy on their PF reports. However, a dog showed up in a CA rescue group from them and they said the dog had come from Superdome! Made me think that the orig group had more info on each of the animals… Also, can she scan them to see if they have a chip?
