All girl anything sells and sells big and easy. From the original posting we can see why. People just like to hear them and the total haromny thing is rare and cool. Jo and the WD's don't do much of that or any of those cute little tunes from the way back machine, or do they? Add them up and you'll find a fair number of old tunes (not oldtyme) and they usually do harmonize on them. Just not all girl voices, but isn't Jo's voice enough? That's one hell of a voice. Why mix it down with 3 or 4 other's of varying quality (from good to great in the case of UE)? Give them a chance and you might find merrit in just having Jo and the Boys instead of a bunch of girl voices to loose Jo's voice in. No if you want to hear Jo in that all girl vocal thing, she is a member of Lorelei (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/maggiemccabe/Lorelei.htm) which is an all girl (and occational one guy) A Cappella group. They play out every once in a while, but with all of the members as part of other groups the gigs get spread pretty thin. Now maybe this thread can die... The not so old man...
