Hello Gina.
Thanks for posting this. I didn't know anything about his beliefs. In France these kind of statements would not raise any eyebrow. But in the USA beleiving in God seems to be part of being normal and not beleiving or not knowing what to beleive can seem abnormal for a lot of people. Religion has declined a lot in France during the last 2 centuries.
