It is interesting to me because George Clooney just made an announcement he is movie Smoke House to Sony. I thought the timing of that announcement was strange, considering George and Steven's past, and the fact that Sony had just pulled the plug on Steven's movie. I wonder if Steven and George split on bad terms.
Rumor had it that Sony was looking to George to direct Moneyball taking Steven;s place. Evediently, Brad has right to refusal if he doesn't approve the director they sign on. Surely Brad wouldn't walk away from George if he was directing. Or perhaps Brad Grey and WB will pick up Moneyball. Should be interesting to see how it turns out.
