My experience in Paris was terrific.
Most everyone there spoke english so I didn't have too hard of a time. David speaks some French so he was able to speak when we traveled out of the city, but in Paris, I had no problems. I felt welcomed.
In our other travels outside the city there were a few storekeepers that didn't speak much english, but by the time were we out of the city, I understood what I was reading better and somehow communicated ok with everyone.
I have fond memories of France and would love to get the opportunity to come there again.
