Oh I'm very sorry to hear that Pennylee. I think it's stupid of them to let you go after the efforts and money they spent to have you there. You are very skilled and expereinced, I bet you will find something very quickly. People here are starting to think that now the big companies are using the economic crisis as an excuse to lay off a lot of people and get away with a lot of stuff they wouldn't have before the crisis.
For us, in France, being able to lay off an employee without any notice nor explanation is unimaginable (except for the 1 months trial time right after hiring).
