Scares the hell out of me. I don't think Hollywood is any great example nor in touch with the reality of this world. I wish they would stand down, their supporting our next President makes me very nervous. Brings on strong emotion that we are going to be more screwed up in years to come.
I get so sick of the media making such hype about Bono performing. Who cares about this guy, he isn't even American. Like his voice means anything to Americans. Matter of fact, he likes to stand and shout about injustice in the world but then he goes on to say something like "He could never live in the White House, it is too small." *eyeroll* I am not impressed with him at all, as an artist either. I think he is way over hyped.
There was one performer, Beyonce I think, who sang America the Beautiful, that was nicely done. But, with the economy the way it is, I hope this celebration Hollywood is created is short lived and they will sit down and shut up and lets see what changes this man can make to help the real people. It makes me really uncomfortable that Hollywood embraces him so. Bad feelings and I hate that it over shadows any hope that so many pray for.
