The financial crisis is not going to be easy to solve. Our new President and Congress will have to work together to come up with some solutions.
I hope for the best. America will do what is needed to make things better, we always do.
Here in Chicago the celebration continues. It is interesting to watch.
Today, in Illinois the focus is on who will be appointed to take Barack Obama's seat in the Senate.
I haven't heard who that might be yet.
I don't think John McCain was the best candidate from the Republican side and he had a huge uphill battle. I don't think he was strong enough to climb that mountain.
It is such a historic election. I actually have been enjoying watching Oprah and others rejoice in the election of an African American for President.
My prayer is that he will be wise as he leads our country and makes decisions.
