I remember seeing the trailer for that Rolling Stones concert at the IMAX while I was in an OMNIMAX in Paris a long time ago.
No, I didn't see "Shine a light" in IMAX format, but in a regular movie theater and I think that was really good enough. I've read a review by someone who saw it at an IMAX and he regretted having seen it in that format because it was too big and too loud for him. I think the regular movie theater is pretty perfect as for sound and picture quality. I've never seen a concert filmed that well in my life, some moments were really priceless.
