Enjoyed my birthday very much!
Life has been so busy it was a delight to spend my birthday in a slow-paced manner with people that I love and a luxury to attend to items that don't usually make it onto the agenda.
Met with an artist who is going to work on a series of four paintings for me. The paintings are part of a larger project that had been placed on a back burner since 1994. It's nice to get it going again.
Spent the afternoon picking out some new comfy items for the bedrooms and bathrooms of my home. Oh, the simple comforts! A soft throw rug for your feet by the bathroom counter or a yummy velvet cover for a pillow. ahhhhh. It doesn't take much to make me happy
My mom and I went for manicures & pedicares followed by dinner with my husband & sons at our favorite little thai food restaurant. A perfect day for sure.
I'm very happy to be 44 at last. Twenty years ago I had my astrological chart prepared by a friend who is a wonderfully gifted professional. She cracks me up because she is so matter-of-fact about her interpretations. She often says "it's all math." She has never said a particular thing would happen. She will only advise as to cycles and influences. Because, as she explains, influences can manifest in a million ways and it's good to know there's a beginning and end to each cycle.
Well, back in 1987, she told me that after 44 it would be smooth sailing for me...not that before 44 would be terrible, but just that it would hold some challenging experiences. She told me 2008 would be the very best year of my life as it marks a major turning point for me toward all that is good and very well-earned.
So...at last...it's good to have earned my double 4...and to be on the brink of 2008...Happy New Year! *clinks champagne glass back at ya with hugs & kisses in return*
