...I very much enjoyed your posts about him over the years. He seemed like quite a dear character. How comforting it must have been for your sister and her husband to have made it in time.
93 years - wow, he was a child during WWI, a lad for the Roaring Twenties, a teen/young man during the Depression, as well as enduring WWII. (Then we start to share memories of the changing times as we go about our separate lives.) What a lot of memories he had. I'm sure he had lots of 'pretty pictures' to take with him.
