Well, that is the difference for me. The sacrament of marriage is so much more than just a piece of paper in my opinion. But, I realize, that marriage is quickly becoming a thing of the past. The world is evolving away from it as more and more people believe what you are saying. That it doesn't matter and won't matter in the lives of our children or their children or their children's children. I don't even want to imagine what this world will be like but lucky for me, I won't be here to witness it either. It does concern me for the loved ones I will leave behind. Hopefully, the base I leave with my children will be important to them that they will at least attempt to pass those values onto their own children. That is all we can do in life. The world will evolve regardless. I find it heartbreaking that it would take the direction that these celebrities promote with their lives. They love to believe they are saving the world but to me they are the biggest fools to ever believe such a thing. OMG, what a mess this world will be in but our children will have to be much stronger than we ever were to survive it. That is my visual for this world but life is never easy regardless what we are forced to deal with in our own time. That is why it is a good thing that our time expires here, sad as it is for the ones we leave behind.
Good luck with your boys driving. I am certain you and your husband have given them a strong base to accepting the responsibility. I always tell my children before they leave the house "Use good judgment." For me those three words speak volumes to them and hopefully, if I say them enough, they will hear them before taking unnecessary chances in life whether I am here or not.280
