On my home court, my son graduated from high school, (falling to my knees and thanking God, he made it) He has a full time job already and is probably making enough to get his own place. He is going to work for a while until he decides what he wants to do. He might take some classes in the fall but I am not sure that is the right direction for him so I pray that he finds the path that he will excel in. Rachel is doing well, first and foremost, she is in love. Young love seriously, there is nothing more precious to watch. These two are like a little married couple, they do the grocery shopping for me together. Cracks me up so much, and funniest part is, they have known each other since the time they were toddlers. They went to the same babysitter as infants because his grandparents lived across the street from us. Fate at it's finest, we laugh about it often. But, she knows how to pick em, this is a really good kid and he has fit into my family perfectly. She has another year of beauty college and great ideas on how she wants to enhance my business as she plans to add photography and make it grow in a new direction. I don't have the strength to expand it, but it is fun to hear her ideas. She is passionate about it and that tells me she will be a success. Her boyfriend is going to Ohio State in Columbus Ohio, so we will see if her first love will be the one for her. They are so close, I can't imagine it will effect them, but ya never know what destiny has in store for them.It will be good for them to be separated to see if the heart grows fonder or feels the need to explore.I suppose it will be a little of both in the end but it will be a good thing that their love is tested by being separated. We had my sons graduation party last weekend. I had a houseful of people and had to lock my dogs up. Oh, that was so hard, I tried to wear them out in the morning so they would sleep during the party, but, no such luck. They cried and scratched at the door the entire time. Like a knife stabbing me in the heart. Finally, after 4 hours I brought them out. Once I did, people started to leave. The salon has been busy, thank God again. The boutique is really starting to take off now. It is so fun, I really like the line I carry because it works for everyone, even fuller figured women. I love that, i love that my clothing can enhance what a women sees when she looks in the mirror. It is interesting to see the women who will pay a little more to stand out and feel confident in their appearence. I must admit, it is the more independant woman who invest in their appearence. So many in committed relationship refuse to spend the money to look their best because because their mate wouldn't approve. I always feel bad when women tell me that, why wouldn't it be worth looking and feeling your best to your mate? I live in a very conservative area where cost is more important then appearence. Makes me realize there are only a handful of independant women in my area. I am hoping to change that and I consider it a challenge.

I haven't heard a thing from Grammy but she has been in my thoughts lately. Strange when that happens, I hope she is well.
In my heart and soul I know the right path but it is like sending him into the jungle alone and I am not ready to cut that tie just yet.
Oh well, nothing like being able to control the start of a party and the end of it. Lucky enough, all my sons friends stayed so it didn't ruin the party completely.![]()
