Posted by Gina on 5/17/2007, 6:03 am, in reply to "Canada.....and the prom" I am sorry your dad is so sick and to have that on your mind on your peaceful vacation. Sounds like you did all you could to embrace nature and sent those soothing vibes to your dad and your family that was dealing with it. Sometimes when there are too many people trying to run things, it makes matters harder then they need be. It is peaceful to know you have help in caring for your dad and doing what is in his best interests. About the prom. Trust me, this small town made a bigger deal about it then what we do here. My hubby was so funny, as we were walking up, he says to Ryans dad. (Ryan being Rachels boyfriend) "Is this like the big exciting event for the people who live here?" I had to laugh in the moment that he said it outloud. I gave him a playful smack as to say, "that wasn't nice." The expression on his face made me chuckle. He is like "What? Look, the whole town is here." It was cute, everyone had their cameras and were so excited about the big event. I have a picture of them but you know me, I have no idea how to post pictures so I can mail it to you and if you want to put it up here, I am sure Rachel would be ok with it. Send me your mailing address in email and I will send it off to you. I am keeping you dad in my thoughts and prayers.Hugs!

Canada sounds amazing Dotters. I would love to go there someday. In the summer, when there is no snow. I get enough of that at home.
