I do have but ONE birthday wish for today and if I could get this ONE present, it would make my day, my year and my specialbirthday. I want a call from my sons school saying he passed his English ISTEP test. OMG, that would be like the ULTIMATE gift!! Pray for me that God fulfills my wish!! I have to share Rachel's prom with you. Rachel went to her boyfriends prom a couple of weeks back and he is from a really small town in Ohio. It was a major deal in his little town as we were invited to attend. It was a red carpet event where the couples pulled up in their limos and sports cars and tractors, (kid you not, some of them came on tractors. it was cute) They all got introduced before walking into the prom. (Rachel's boyfriend scored the sports car for the event, that was a major hit when they pulled up) But, I kid you not, when Rachel stepped out of that car and she had her hair up and a dress with sequins all over it, she took my breath away. I had tears as she looked around at the crowd with a big smile on her face. The sun reflected off her overwhelming beauty as it caught the sequins on her dress and shimmered so you couldn't take your eyes off of her. I was almost star struck looking at her. I got to stay long enough to watch them walk in and as she turned to have her picture taken, I was standing off in the distance and her eye found me and she smiled so beautifully my way. It made me so proud of her and I knew that was a connection I would remember for a lifetime, a memory that would be in my heart forever. It was cute that the whole town was there to watch the big event. Hope everyone is well. Thanks for the birthday wishes, it is thunderstorming here. So very beautiful to watch a storm blow in.

The big 45 today. I love it, I love saying I am 45!! For sure a step forward. I look forward to each and every year in this wonderful thing called life. 
Course I had major tears by that time and some man approached me to point out that I was crying. Always cracks me up when men do that, like they want to make sure you know, they see you crying.
