I'm so happy that you are feeling this much better. Yes anything is possible and we must never lose hope. The master of my school of aikido had a car accident a few years ago and had 64 breaks on his legs. The doctors told him he would never walk again, but now he walks and teaches aikido very effectively again. He went thought a lot of pain and I remember a couple of years ago he walked very painfully and couldn't sit on the mat, but now he walks almost normally and I recently see saw him do sitted techniques which would have been impossible for him to do before.
