I am thankful and appreciative all of the time and effort the SCBA volunteers put into this free class. JT, Gene and Tesa cooking all night to prepare the meats meats, and Ken, Dawn and Steve getting up really early to drive to Columbia. Lots of cooking and cleaning up afterwards. All to teach a bunch of their competitors how to make better BBQ! That is what makes SCBA a phenomenal group and I'm really happy to be a part of it.
Competitions are long nights and hard work. Classes like this remind me what a great Fellowship we have. I'm excited and looking forward to another fun season of competitions. And I also agree with David in that I hopefully don't qualify to take the class next year (but I'd be happy to help out if they need it).
