Friends, I am not an accountant, I do not play one on TV and I did not stay at a Holiday Inn last night either, but even I can add and that totals up to over $11,000.00 in cash prizes to be awarded to the winning teams. There are still entry spots available, but they are filling up fast, so if you believe some of that prize money should be coming your way, email jebain2002@gmail.com to get your Cook Team Packet and Application form.
Judges, the Committee has not forgotten you either, with help from the Mullins Chamber of Commerce each judge will receive a “Goodie Bag” as a token of appreciation and Bo McMillan, the Mayor of Mullins, has promised to deliver a sheet cake to the judges so they can have a little dessert following some wonderful barbeque and ribs. Those of you who judged the 2014 Rib Cook-off in Mullins should remember the cake the Mayor brought in that day – and he tells me this one will be even better.
