Thanks to all of the judges for the great job they did and for their understanding under unusual circumstances. The scores ranged from 14.4 to 15.9 for butts, 14.2 to 15.2 for ribs and 14.9 to 15.6 for beans so it is obvious that our judges did a magnificent job. Thanks to Berry Jordan, George McDaniel and William Holladay for volunteering to help the teams that cooked extra pull their meat so the EFOC could have enough to sell plates. These gentlemen went above and beyond the call of duty to help make the cook-off a success and their sacrifice is greatly appreciated.
We are happy to announce that the EFOC sold out of Barbeque around six o’clock Saturday night. The teams that vended on Friday reported good sales while the teams that stayed to vend on Saturday had long lines in front of their sites. We are looking forward to a bigger and better event next year.
