Never heard it called a teasing board, but hog bowls or hog trays are a common item around Darlington/Florence. Fact is they are becoming increasingly difficult to find, plus the cost factor adds another consideration.
After considerable searching, I bought my hand carved tray from a barber in Hemingway SC. His name is Quinton Hughes, so you may possibly find his number in the book. For a tupelo gum tray carved from a single block of wood, you can expect to pay around $400 or more.
