As a follow up to the posting I did yesterday concerning submitting team names to Memphis In May, I took the time to go over our newest updated list of cook teams and team captain’s names and addresses.
You may remember that several months ago I asked that teams help us update our list by sending me their team name and the name and address of the team captain. Only 6 teams did so. That was not exactly an overwhelming response.
That means that we have a new, updated list (which I have compiled from other sources) with about 150 names – and by that I mean names of the team captain - but we have only about 110 team names to go with those captain’s names.
In other words, I have about 110 -120 teams for which I have the complete information I would need when I submit their names to any national invitational events but about 30 to 40 names with incomplete information. What I need is both the team name and the captain’s name as well as the captain’s home address. A phone number and email is very helpful too.
When the time comes to submit team names to invitational cook-off and I don’t have the proper team name to go with the captain’s name, I won’t be able to discern just whose name and address I will need to send.
The solution to this, of course, is simple. If your team’s name is on the MBA list please send me your name and address along with the name of the team you represent.
As mentioned above, this is my second time of asking so let’s all hope for a better response this time.
