i have a whole new kinda respect for my fellow cookers after this weekend. this was the worst weather i've ever seen at an event.(next to o'burg but i only judged there) the first thing i remember was standing under the firehouse team tent. even under the tent, a river was running under the chairs. evrything i brought came home soaked. one day when i'm old and gray, i'll be telling bbq war stories to my bbq grandbabies and i'll say "i was at clover 09" they'll just stare and go "...wow" great job al, danny, bobby and michael under difficult circumstances. bobby i predict sunny days for the next 100 bordertown cookoffs! see you next year.
