The transformation from perpetual losers to never giving up the fight seems to be complete.
Nolan really has done a good job in transforming some players, Duffy and Hollis, apparently now unrecognisable from the dreadful artisans of early season. O'Connor and Milsom running midfield, Stead covering every blade of grass.
I am sure having 5 new bodies in the squad has helped too, no more so than Ameobi, at last we have got a real target man, shame about his age. You go into every match now thinking Notts stand a chance.
Even against Donny if that goal had stood and it was 2-2 anything could have happened and it was only 3-1 as the goalie had gone up in the last minute for a corner.
Well we can get a draw on Saturday and I'm going for 1-1.
I think over the years we have not had to bad a run against them so why shouldn't it continue? Yes the players appear reborn and I for one am happy foe Hollis especially.I think he will have been at the club 10years next season so hopefully now with a positive manager he may start to develop something resembling a consistent performer who knows?
As for the match itself I think we can win this one with a bit of luch and grit.2-1 for me before someone else pinches it from me.
