I hope that he is a better recommendation than the last one we got from Warnock. Why cant he come back in a role to help and guide the new boss along? Now wouldn't that be nice. Oh the glory days wouldn't that be a sight for sore eyes again. Regards NZ FRED

Must admit that Jones returning has given me some cause for optimism! But as for hope, i'm just hoping that things don't go as bad as i fear they could!

He's just an old bloke brought in to appease people old enough to remember him when he was with Warnock and was good.He won't make any difference if we're rubbish

But, if we're good then he'll have made all the difference! Damn these rose tinted specs work well, no wonder i daren't wear them very often!

A load of youngsters and last season's rejects coached by someone who was once part of a team that did well...hmm sounds promising :-)

After all these years i would have thought you would know that Notts often do well when few expect them to! I prefer to think/ hope that a wise head guiding/ nurturing willing youngsters can bring excellent dividends! (either that or a Jimmy Saville type scenario !)

God almighty...he must be 150 years old, I remember him playing for us.....which makes me hmmm....still 10 years younger than that old mushroom JP.

Yes, it's true I am a seasoned old campaigner. O that others could have achieved even half of my wisdom after their large number of years...

I wasn't going to post until after reading M64s witty retort about "wisdom", Maybe It's too much like shooting fish in a barrel?

How often have you seen fish a) shot in a barrel b) shot One catches fish, one doesn't shoot them. What must it be like Naggers to meander through life without an education. I'll ask the old mushroom next time I see him at the first home match.
