I've got a brand new Championship 1998 shirt with league epaulettes and number which I may wear for the start of the new season as a good luck symbol.It came from a stash that were destined for the players.

oh no that might be a bad thing JP. If that shirt was destined for a Notts player in 98' and they didn't wear it look at what they did. Keep that shirt in the Frame, it's proberbly best.

If the takeover does not go through, you will be able to count my visits to Meadow Lane on the thumb of one hand.............over the next 5 years. It will kill the club. Those of us who have followed the club for more years than we care to remember will still support the club but not in person. I know 3 others who think the same. They will call it a day. Gates will be around 2,000 and we will go down. Notts will die.

These things were starting to happen last season anyway and you didn't bat an eyelid. If this takeover doesn't happen, they will continue and if we don't get some pretty big signings in and some inspired management they will happen.

What a load of doom-mongerers, you make it sound like there'll only be JP & myself off this board still attending if everything goes pearshape on the "deal"! Hang on a sec', isn't that normally the case already? Things are already changing, even Charlie realised how weak midfield was & has signed 2 players to change that! We will be better next season even in the unlikely event of a no vote!
