A good win in difficult circumstances for the Pies. Out went Charlie's only tactic - down the wings and over and the team were a bit more compact although moving Davies into centre seemed a bit odd.A great goal from Rodgers after an even better pass settled the nerves and Crewe looked clueless.Hughes continued to look out of sorts and it was notable that the only second half goal came from a non-striker. Ade whatever his name is came on in the second and looked more like a midfielder. Schmeichel played very well and in addition to his penalty save, made two good stops. We need a manager though. It will be more difficult to get past the Shrews on this form.
