Having viewed the shirt JP it is from one of two seasons, 65/66 66/67.
It is entirely possible that the shirt was the first ever to be worn by a Notts substitute. Subs in 65/66 only being allowed for injured players.
The first sub for Notts was Dennis Shiels on Feb 5th 1966, it is generally believed we were the last club to use a U -Boat!!
I have also narrowed it down to the fact that this shirt if genuine was worn by only 1 of 10 players...........and and and if it is a 65/66 shirt, it was worn by only 1 of 3 players.
