Posted by diyouth on 9/26/2004, 1:46 pm for sometimes u will be encouraged by what u see and hear...in like manner u will be discouraged by what u see and hear...one day ur up, the next ur down... why be as the 'dust' that is 'kicked' about...obeying whatever happens to it...when u are truthfully much more than a foot-stool... some people are intrested in explaining the negative situations...situations they don't want to be in...saying "the reasong why" or, "it is because of" and so on...and what does this do...invoke more reasons that suggest that u are not supposed to live a good life...and even if u 'go against the grain' it is done in weariness and strain as a struggle... for this, history has proven...we have seen and heard the sea beating the shore...and the creatures therein...and what would become of us and the sea?...if we only concerned ourselves with that wich we hear and see...knowing we did not have gills nor fins...this would only suggest that we cannot be in the seas, and venture accross waters...However it took individuals who Rise above...who didn't imprisoned themselves to what they see and hear...instead followed who they are and use what they seen and heard to be where they wanted to be...to go for a swim, or to construct crafts that wouldn't sink...in that if the waters was something to be afraid of, it wasn't anymore...accomplishment...a good feeling... In todays world some say its more sophisticated...yet the formula of nature hasn't changed... bills to be payed...not seeing where the money is coming from...but seeing the injustice of paying for something more than what its worth... ...don't expect joy, security, truth, to come from what u see and hear...for what u see and hear have their own tale to express... Instead it is as a mechanic...the joy and testimony of a good mechanic is to fix what is seen and heard to be broken... for when the mechanic fixes such...it will be known and written in history...that whether u see it or not...hear it or not it cannot hinder progress...this gives security...peace of mind, content, coz it is truthful...for it has happened... in that I say again, The history of the indigenousssssssss... Don't put logic against FAITH...for what is logical is ulitmately faithful, else u would be doing urself a diservice...
hearing ur bredrin getting shot or locked up...or the struggles of a sistren left alone with her new born...seeing those that can help boast...and curse those who cannot help themselves...
