i know this is an old post, but,
i live in winston-salem, nc
i was a part of that gathering
i helped organize it along with many itiful sistren in this area, as well as cook for it.
a sexual free for all?
my king at the time was the presiding elder at the triad house of Rastafar I (doors now closed) and he never made mention of any of these things to this sis.
i was there
and i have never heard of this occurance.
if it happened, i must have been very busy or involved in seminars. mother bubbles and mama loi were there as well and i have never heard of this thing happening from either of them.
i am not saying that it did not happen....it must have been covered up if it did.
it is not fair for a one to burn an entire community of rasta on this outernet for the folly of perhaps a few.
there is slackness and folly everywhere...not just here.
it is not fair to say that there is homosexuality within the livity here. i have never seen it.
but i am not in the midst of gossip and garbage.
there are also many a ones in greensboro, nc that hold firm as well.
let us not lump a few fallen as the norm here in this area.
again, i am not saying that this did not occur.....i just never saw it nor heard of it.
