Well then...they say that breaking up is hard to do, and in a matter of speaking, Jagr had a relationship with the Pens--ever since he came to the US, it had been hima nd the Pens. I never thought it would come to the point that he woudl be so jaded at the Pens, for whatever reason, to actually leave. It was almost a loyalty I expected him to have. Especially since Lemieux, his teacher in hockey, had returned. But alas, the time ahs come--I've been expecting this for a few monthes now, and you'd think that I'd be prepared. But now, in a sense, we have to let him go--and it will be hard. It will be even harder when we have to play him in the future. But, I'd like to think that I am a true fan...and I want to wish him luck. I hope he is happy with the Caps, and goes on to play his best games. But I also hope that he still will look back at his time spent with the Pens with a fondness. I hope that he remembers his fans in Pittsburgh and everywhere else and how much it meant to see him play every week for the Pens.
