Posted by Gretchen --Previous Message-- You should check out the Terre Haute Tribune Star's web site and read their articles regarding the bombing, the execution, and everything in-between. I read through the list of names of the 168 victims. How on earth could anyone believe that McVeigh shouldn't have had to forfeit his own life for what he did? I don't think the death penalty is a deterrent, but I do think it is sometimes appropriate--and this was absolutely one of those times.

: I know this has nothing to do with
: hockey, I know you guys heard that
: Tim McVeigh was pronounced dead at
: 7:14 a.m. on June 11, 2001, by
: lethal injection.
: Personally, I'm VERY glad that the
: piece of SH!T is dead!!I HOPE to
: GOD that the MOTHERF*CKER rots in
: HELL!!!
: My thoughts and prayers go out to the
: families of the 168 victims in the
: Oklahoma City Bombing. My thoughts
: and prayers also go out to the
: McVeigh family, although I'm glad
: Tim McVeigh is dead, it still
: doesn't erase the fact that he
: still had a family. And even
: though he did murder 168 human
: beings, I'm sure they still loved
: him, and are mourning themselves.
: His family is not at fault for his
: actions.
