It is absolutely vital for the good of both Jagr and the Pens that they trade #68 this summer. Jaromir has already made the separation mentally, and it would be totally counterproductive for management to even think of trying to keep him in Pittsburgh. He had a terrible series against Jersey, partly from his injured shoulder but also because his mindset wasn't where it needed to be for him to compete at the level we've been used to seeing. So, this exquisitely talented athlete is destined to start next season with a new team and hopefully with a renewed enthusiasm for proving that he can still be "fire on ice."
