Hi Sharon,
No, I have no problem snapping my bottom Overdenture on. I just set them on my jaw and they almost always line up with the two posts in my bottom jaw. Then I gently press them in and they click into the posts. It's not hard at all. I just like to take my time so they don't break from excessive pressure if they are not lined up right. Taking them out is slightly harder. I put my thumbs under a certain spot on either side of the overdenture and my pointer fingers over the top of the overdenture and I gently press the Overdenture up until I feel it come loose from the posts and I am holding it in my hands.
Glad your adjustments went well. I hear you about the adjustment on the Upper needing another appointment for the other side. That was the story of my summer! My Prothodontist would adjust one side of my upper overdenture only to have to adjust the other side too even though that was not sore. Sometimes the first side needed further adjustment after the other side was adjusted due to the first adjustment of the first side that was done. Whew!
Have a great day! Patti
Have a great week
