Hi Sharon!
I have two snaps on my bottom teeth and 4 are available to use on the top overdenture when those implants get uncovered. However, my Prothodontist is thinking he won't use all 4 since I have a bit of a struggle getting the lower overdenture out each night and during my appointments with him. He might only use 3. I'm getting better at it, though, with time!!! My lower overdenture has a slight rock to it. It does not bother me whatsoever. They are still very stable and they don't rub when they do rock. Do you get food stuck under your overdenture? I have to rinse food out of my overdenture about once a day. It's easy enough to do, since they do come out, so it's no big deal.
I wonder why your temporary bottom overdenture did not have back teeth on it. Mine did and it took me 7 weeks to get used to a full set of teeth in my mouth. So, I am hoping the adjustment to the final set of overdentures will be easier.
Next Wednesday I find out how healing went on the upper right side and will find out when the upper implants will be uncovered.
Keep your updates coming. If you want you can email me at Scrabbler214@aim.com. Would love to stay in touch with you!
Take care! Patti
