Hi Everyone,
Tomorrow is the day my 2 lower implants will be uncovered and my oral surgeon will place the final implants in my upper right jaw. Things feel like they are really moving forward now! I've come a long way since the original Implant Surgery in May and getting used to a full set of temporary dentures. What a summer it's been! I kind of have the butterflies about the procedure tomorrow because I do not know how recovery will go although I do not expect it to be any worse than my May recovery when I had extraction, bone grafting and 4 implants placed. On Halloween my prothodontist is going to put the snaps on my bottom temporary teeth. I'll get the permanent ones when my upper jaw is healed and ready. I'm hoping it's not going to be difficult to snap and unsnap the teeth each night for cleaning. One more step closer to getting implant supported Overdentures!! Hope all is well with everyone. Patti
