That is interesting, KC! How long did you have to be in Costa Rica for a full mouth restoration? And what was involved in your full mouth restoration? You have my curiosity up. On May 31st, I had my remaining teeth extracted (13 baby teeth), bone grafting of both jawbones, 2 implants put in top left jaw and 2 in bottom jaw. I am waiting for healing to be done and then 2 implants will go in right upper jawbone. I had an infection in there that had to be cleaned out so my oral surgeon couldn't put the implants in there on the 31st. The end result will be that I will have overdentures that will snap in and snap out...giving me a full set of teeth. I ask how long you had to be in Costa Rica for this because since my surgery, I have had weekly appointments with my prothodontist for adjustments of the temporary teeth I am wearing and I have had 2 follow up appointments with my oral surgeon. I don't even have a date yet for the implant surgery for my upper right jaw. I can't imagine being in a foreign country needing further treatment. Including surgery, temporary teeth, permanent teeth, implants, bone grafting, extraction, and all appointments, my total cost was just a little over $22,000. I hope it's going well for you. Take care! Patti
