I had oral surgery two months ago and because of a combination of me getting sick afterwards (unrelated) and the dentist not being available, two months later I still haven't had the non-dissolvable stitches in my mouth removed. Does anyone know if this is dangerous? Or can stitches stay in the gum for a prolonged period of time without a problem?
