Keeping Dental Implants White?

Does anyone know how to keep dental implants (the crowns obviously) from discoloring? I don't want to have to avoid a bunch of foods and drinks I love in order to keep my artificial teeth white, so is there any way to whiten them periodically, like one woul with real teeth?
