Hi Jeff, Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it. Sorry if my original post was too brief. I wasn't quite sure how much detail to go into. Thirteen teeth will be extracted and they are all baby teeth. Two bottom back ones have silver caps on them. Most are along the lower jaw. The rest are on upper left side one on upper right side. I never got my second teeth so at the age of 48 the remaining 13 teeth are starting to get loose and weak. Up until now I made out well with a pedi partial on upper front jaw and my remaining baby teeth. I am getting 4 implants in upper jaw and 2 implants on lower jaw. Plus bone grafting of both jawbones. The overdentures will snap on and off of these implants and will give me a full set of teeth. Sorry, but I don't remember the name of the company. But, it's one that has been around since Implants have come out according to my oral surgeon. We tried getting my insurance to pay for the whole thing since my dental issues are caused by being born with Goldenhaar Syndrome and due to my mouth structure, I am not a candidate for regular dentures; but no luck with getting them to chip in. Soooo, I am paying for it myself. I have an oral surgeon and a prothodontist on my team. I am paying the oral surgeon approximately $11,600 in a one year payment plan and I paid my prothodontist $10,664 in full. I knew I would have to do something someday with my mouth so had been saving up but whewwww! Do you have Overdentures? Any other questions or tips, please keep them coming. As the date draws nearer, I am getting more butterflies. Patti
