This is another Gene doll I thought I would never get to own...found her on an online doll store for the original selling price...thanks to a generous tax refund this year, this stunning lady is now displayed in my home! She and her outfit are both spectacular up close in person...she was well worth the years of waiting!

the choker necklace last fall and I just love her, I am very fond of redressing my Gene dolls but this one has never been redressed she is just so perfect as she is, however Phantom Lady Gene keeps looking at her dress, with stares that might even frighten Madra

Are you as talented with a thread and needle as you are with doll hair?

I imagine you could make a choker pretty close to the original one...I culd bring mine along next time I visit Gigi's...

you know that I just couldn't wait long for her to have an appropriate choker, so I have made one already! I actually used a bit of turn of the century very fine embroidered lace that I only had about 3 inches of and had saved for years waiting for the right use.when finished (I was afraid of staining so lined it in nude ribbon) I like it even better than the original one, I was going to sew black beads on it too but I still like it without them so haven't done that yet, i really have to stop procrastinating and take pics of things I have done.

You should create a webpage of all your doll restorations...with before and after photos...could bring you LOTS more work to do

I hope to get into Gigi's sometime early next month...it's been way too long...
