While Betty Grable might have had the number one "cheese-cake" photo for GI's to enjoy, Gene certainly did her share to "launch a thousand ships" and inspire the troups!
I have read many times over the years that this Gene, 1996 Pin-Up, is the favorite of many collectors...and, hard to believe, but I have also read a few times that some dealers did not want to stock this Gene...she was too "risque"!
